Watch: Indian pacer Varun Aaron uproots South African skipper Amla’s stumps: Winning the toss in the morning, India opted to field first inviting visitors to bat at the 2^nd test on day 1 in Bengaluru. South Africa had a bad start as they lost 2 quick wickets at 15. Captain Hashim Amla came to crease but he never looked settled today even for a brief moment. His stagnant form continued as the star batsman got bowled out at a beautiful and awestruck delivery from India’s speedster Varun Aaron.

In some deliveries, bowlers get wickets by luck but in some deliveries batsmen have absolutely no reply to such balls whatsoever. Amla’s dismissal earlier today in Bengaluru test falls in the second category. It is not as if Varun Aaron’s deliveries were unplayable today in fact his economy rate was worse today. But the bowl at which he got the wicket of Amla was truly incredible. Even cricket experts fell short of words while describing the beauty of this delivery. It was the last bowl of the 15^th over and Aaron clean bowled the Proteas captain’s off stump.

Amla had faced a lot of deliveries in his cricket career, but his dismissal in today’s match was just unbelievable. It went past his bat and pad gap within a fraction of the second and crushed his off-stump. Eventually, Amla got out for 7 only after facing just 18 deliveries.

Varun Aaron’s ball was actually an out-swinging delivery that completely left the right hand top order batsman stunned and hapless. The bowl pitched at the good length area and swung outside taking out Amla’s off-stump with no contact with the bat. Even other batsmen would have faced similar result facing this fearsome delivery from Aaron.
