Watch: Sehwag and Zaheer being themselves in the TV commercial for World T20

Former Indian captain Virender Sehwag and ace pacer Zaheer Khan recently featured in the TV commercial for the ICC World T20 Hindi commentary. Sehwag just retired from international cricket but featured in the Masters Champion League in Dubai and won the tournament for his team.

Zaheer on the other end retired from international cricket, but will feature in this year’s IPL for the final time for Delhi Daredevils. Both of the players are shown in the advertisement talking to an intern, who is asking Sehwag to be patient and to control his language and emotions during the matches. The intern also asks him to be neutral and Sehwag just nods while eating from his bowl of fruit.

Zaheer then laughs after seeing Sehwag nod and when intern asks him why he is laughing, Zaheer says that Sehwag used to nod in the same way during the talks with the coach and the captain, but used to do whatever he felt was correct on the field.

This commercial captures the true essence of Sehwag in the way he used to play his game, keeping it simple and doing what he does best. And to see Sehwag and Zaheer once again in a stadium, though holding a mic will be another great experience for the fans.

The Hindi commentary team will also include Kapil Dev, Deep Dasgupta, Shoaib Akhtar and VVS Laxman among others along with Sehwag and Zaheer. The main draw of the ICC World T20 2016 begins on 15^th March 2016 with India taking on New Zealand in the first match.
