Watch: Teams of IPL take the famous Mannequin Challenge

In the recent times, the trend of Mannequin Challenge has been a very popular one on the social media. A plethora of people have been posting their video edits of taking the challenge. The teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) were not far behind in taking the challenge either. As many as 6 teams of the IPL 2017 have already taken the challenge and the videos are worth a watch.

Talking about this viral trending challenge, it is a challenge wherein the people are supposed to pose still. They have to control their movements and that includes the expressions as well. In essence, they have to be statues or mannequins; and hence the name of the challenge was derived. In other words, one can call it to be a frozen version of themselves being recorded on the camera.

Kingfisher, one of the key sponsors of some of the IPL teams over the years, initiated this challenge. The six teams that have already taken the challenge are the Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rising Pune Supergiant, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and the Delhi Daredevils. The video of the Mumbai camp has Harbhajan Singh in the first frame with an aggressive emotion as he points towards something. Other players like Mitchell Johnson and Krunal Pandya are also seen staring at a central focus. Rohit Sharma then kicks the central focus – the football.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad camp took their challenge with a story depiction of their field planning. The senior members of the team are seen looking at the board as David Warner is taking a serious class. Watch Sunrisers Hyderabad, the defending champions of IPL, take the Mannequin challenge here:

The Kolkata Knight Riders had a play time in their challenge video. Robin Uthappa was busy texting someone. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishi Dhawan were busy playing video games. The Kings XI Punjab team found themselves in the kitchen. Skipper David Miller has spaghetti in his hands as Axar Patel was stunned after having the two eggs in his hands. The Delhi Daredevils are seen at the gym in their video. Kagiso Rabada seems to be welcoming all at the gym and Zaheer Khan is running hard for his cardio exercises. Meanwhile, Ben Stokes and Mayank Agarwal relax with their phones in hand as they lie down with peace.
