It was the penultimate delivery of the 4^th over when Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed bowled a front foot no ball, while Virat was on the strike. The team was under a bit of pressure by that time as they had lost Rohit Sharma for 0 on the 1^st ball of the innings and was 21 for the loss of a wicket; Virat could have well used it to break the shackles and cut loose. But he instead chose to defend the ball and score nothing off it.

His decision was something which bewildered every Indian fan and left the Bangladesh supporters laughing and relishing the moment when a free hit was greeted with utmost respect.
