The Chittagong Vikings had an easy job of chasing an easy target of 122 runs set by Dhaka Dynamites in the 25th match of the BPL 3. However, the Vikings had a bad start as they looked stranded at 37/3 after 8th over. The Vikings’ fans hoped that Umar Akmal and Anamul Haque could do some wonder and bring their team back into the game as they were seriously lagging behind. But, Yasir Shah was bowling aggressively like always. He came in to bowl the 9th over after conceding just four from his previous over.

Umar Akmal was at the strike and ticked one run to rotate the strike to Haque with the last ball remaining for the 9th over to end. But Haque mistimed the drive which he tried with an intention of taking another single.

It was a nicely flighted fuller ball outside the off stump. Haque tried to drive it against the turn but was early into the shot. He, eventually, ended up scooping it to Yasir Shah who dived to his left and grabbed the ball out of mid-air.

The stocky leg spinner’s fielding effort was highly appreciable as he reacted swiftly after his follow through. This wicket further dented the chase which had already crumbled to 39/4 while chasing the target.

Earlier in the day, Yasir shah made everyone raise their eyebrow when he came out to bat as an opener. Although, he could not do anything special wielding the bat but this stunning effort while bowling was surely worth watching over and over again.
