Team India has been led masterfully by Virat Kohli in the ongoing Test series against England. His failures of 2014 tour are not even being talked about with the way he’s batted in four matches so far. The skipper though would love to end the tour on a high with a good score and most importantly, win the game for India. Meanwhile, Kevin Pietersen is set to visit The Oval to witness the action on the second day and is hoping for Kohli to score a century.

The first day was all about India’s bowlers despite the fact that they lost the toss on what looked like a good pitch. But the bowlers found movement in the air in the post-lunch session and strung together some amazing overs to keep the batsmen on their toes all the time. They, however, reaped the rewards for their patience in the last session and ended the day on top.

But they will have to ensure again that England‘s lower-order doesn’t hurt them as they have done so far in the series.

Pietersen wants a clinical show from Kohli

Kevin Pietersen, on Saturday, took to his official Twitter handle in order to inform his followers that he was going to visit the stadium. He also had a humble request to his favourite player Virat Kohli to put up a clinical show and make his visit memorable. “On my way to The Oval & I’m requesting a clinic from @imVkohli, please? Thanks, bro! There isn’t anything better than watching the best in this era doing his thing!” his tweet read.

Meanwhile, the hosts have begun the day cautiously as the duo of Adil Rashid and the birthday boy Jos Buttler denied India an early wicket. But Jasprit Bumrah has struck in time to dismiss the former as they have slipped to 214/8.
