'We want to see you back on the field soon' - BCCI wishes T Natarajan a speedy recovery

Indian cricketer Thangarasu Natarajan pulled out of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to an injury to his knee. And, on 27th April 2021, the left-arm pacer announced on Twitter that he has successfully undergone surgery to his knee.
Natarajan thanked the entire medical team, the surgeons, and the doctors for the expertise and kindness that they showed. The 30-year-old also thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and everybody who wished well for him.
“Today, I underwent knee surgery- and I am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff. I’m grateful to BCCI and to all that have wished well for me,” tweeted Natarajan.

BCCI responds to Natarajan’s tweet
And now, the official handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has responded to Natarajan’s tweet. The BCCI wished Natarajan a speedy recovery and also stated that they wanted to see the Tamil Nadu pacer back on the field.

Thangarasu Natarajan has featured in 1 Test, 2 ODIs, and 4 T20Is for India. He has picked up 3 wickets each in Test and ODI cricket and has scalped 7 wickets in the T20I format of the game. Natarajan has also played 24 matches in the IPL and picked up 20 wickets.
Natarajan impressed the cricketing fraternity in the 2020 edition of the IPL that was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The left-arm pacer’s precision and accuracy while bowling at the death was lauded by many in the cricketing fraternity. In the 16 matches that Natarajan played for the ‘Orange Army’ last year, he picked up 16 wickets at a strike rate of 23.56.
Natarajan was last seen on the cricket field on 14th April 2021 in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He bowled 4 overs, gave away 32 runs, and also scalped a solitary wicket as well.
