10. Mohammad Wasim Jr

In the 2020 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Wasim marked his arrival in FC cricket playing for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He went on to play for Islamabad United in the 2021 PSL. His name has been on the list for several limited-overs series but he is still waiting for his chance.

9. Jayden Seales

West Indies got defeated by a huge margin in his debut Test match but Jayden’s performance was very contrasting to the result. He took three wickets with the ball in the first over he bowled. With many Test matches coming, Jayden Seales will be a very important member of the West Indian side.

8. Kyle Verreynne

In 47 FC games, he has scored 3,306 runs with an extraordinary average of 60.72 and has five hundred and 21 fifties to his name. In List A games he bats with an average of 35.06. and has 1,107 runs to his name in 41 matches. He is too good with the gloves too, he has taken 129 catches already as a wicketkeeper in his short FC career.

7. Shahnawaz Dahani

He made his T20I debut for Pakistan against Bangladesh in November 2021. He has been selected for several series but he is still hustling to find a place in the Pakistan side. With so much raw talent, Dahani is under the right guidance and he is on the right path to make a good career.

6. Ruturaj Gaikwad

He has been consistent in the white ball as well. In 62 List A games, he has 3,905 runs to his name with an average of 53.36 and has reached the three-figure mark 10 times with 16 half-centuries also to his name. In IPL 2021, Gaikwad scored 635 runs which were the most in the tournament.

5. Ishan Kishan

Whether it was IPL, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, or Vijay Hazare Trophy, runs were always to his name. The 23 years old wicketkeeper batter has a long way to go in International cricket. With his consistent performance in whichever tournament he plays, Ishan Kishan has bigger duties coming his way.

4. Ollie Robinson

He was involved in many controversies earlier in his career as a cricketer but he apologized and started playing international cricket. With Jimmy Anderson getting old and might announce his departure soon, Robinson can be a good replacement for him.

3. Rachin Ravindra

In 26 first-class matches, Ravindra has scored 1470 runs with an average of 38.68. and has three centuries and nine half-centuries to his name. In 12 List A games, he has scored 316 runs with one hundred and one fifty. He also has 22 and eight wickets in first-class and List-A games respectively.

2. Will Pucovski

In a very young cricket career, he has suffered from two concussion injuries. Despite the unfortunate blows on his head, he has been the stand-out performer in the Australian domestic circuit. Even before turning 21, he scored an unbeaten 243 against the Western Australia Cricket team representing Victoria in the 2018 Sheffield Shield.

1. Devdutt Padikkal

In IPL 2020, Padikkal won the emerging player award for his brilliant performance in the tournament scoring 473 runs in 15 matches. To date, he has played two T20Is for India and will surely be the regular feature in the mighty Indian cricket team in the coming years.
