With Dwayne Smith by his company at the other end, Sachin blasted off and made the hard-hitting West Indian look rather snail-paced in comparison. After the fall of his opening partner James Franklin, Tendulkar partnered with Rohit Sharma and stitched a 100+ partnership in quick time. With 11 fours and a huge six over fine leg, Sachin seemed in his element as he and Rohit went after the Chennai total with a vengeance.
