During a local cricket match in Bilari block, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), bowler Ahmar Khan collapsed on the field after delivering the final ball.
The game was organized by the UP Veterans Cricket Association between Moradabad and Sambhal. Sambhal needed 14 runs off the last four balls when Ahmar Khan bowled.
Ahmar Khan’s final delivery helped Moradabad secure victory, but moments later, he collapsed on the pitch.
After bowling the last ball, he complained of breathing difficulty, sat down, and fainted. Teammates rushed to help and gave CPR before taking him to a hospital.
Despite brief signs of consciousness, doctors confirmed that Ahmar Khan died of a heart attack before treatment could begin.
The incident has caused deep grief among players and fans, with tributes pouring in for the young left-arm bowler who gave his team victory before losing his life.
