Royal Challengers Bengaluru have suffered a major blow ahead of WPL 2026 after Ellyse Perry withdrew from the tournament.
Ellyse Perry has pulled out of Women's Premier League 2026 due to personal reasons, ruling herself out of the upcoming season.
Perry was central to RCB’s title-winning campaign in 2024 and remains one of the league’s most impactful all-rounders across seasons.
In 25 WPL matches, Perry scored 972 runs with eight half-centuries and picked up 14 wickets, including the first-ever six-wicket haul in WPL history.
RCB have named Sayali Satghare as Perry’s replacement. Satghare was previously part of Gujarat Giants and went unsold in the recent auction.
With Perry unavailable, RCB now rely on Nadine de Klerk as their main overseas all-round option as they begin their WPL 2026 campaign against Mumbai Indians on December 9.
