IND vs NZ 1st T20I: Why AI and Drones will be used in first match?

Over 40,000 fans expected for IND vs NZ 1st T20I

Jamtha Stadium is set to witness a packed house for the India–New Zealand first T20 international on January 21.

Nagpur police will use artificial intelligence tools for the first time to regulate crowd movement around the stadium.

Artificial intelligence systems will analyse live CCTV feeds to track crowd density and flag unusual movement in and around Jamtha Stadium.

Drones will be deployed to keep an aerial watch on entry points, parking zones and surrounding areas during the India–New Zealand 1st T20I.

The AI system will help police detect suspicious behaviour and enable faster on-ground response by security teams.

Roads leading to the VCA Stadium at Jamtha will remain under continuous AI and drone surveillance before, during and after the match.
