With some extra pace in arsenal, Hazlewood offers a different dimension to the bowling attack.

10. Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has become a force to formidable force with the new ball as he tends to generate swing even on the flattest of tracks.

9. Shardul Thakur

The other player is Shardul who somehow continues to do well. Notably, Chahar and Thakur can also contribute to the batting department. This allows the batters above to play freely.

8. Dwayne Bravo

Bravo has been tormenting batters in death overs. His contributions with the bat have been handy as well.

7. Ravindra Jadeja

He has also done well with the ball. The case is pretty much same for Jadeja and Bravo. The former has indeed been a force to reckon with in all three departments.

6. Moeen Ali

In the upcoming contest, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, and Sam Curran are likely to be CSK’s set of all-rounders. Ali and Jadeja have been delivering in all three departments and CSK would count on them once again.

5.  Ambati Rayudu

Rayudu has indeed been the most impressive of the three. He has played some brilliant knocks in the middle order and his strike rate of 169.57 this season says a lot.

4. MS Dhoni

As far as Dhoni is concerned, he has hardly done anything with the bat. Although his last-over six against SRH sent fans in nostalgia, he’s expected to contribute more.

3. Suresh Raina

After scoring a half-century in the season opener, hasn’t done much. Moreover, the southpaw has been slotted to the number five position, having played at number three for the majority of his career.

2. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Both Faf du Plessis, and Ruturaj Gaikwad have delivered consistently at the top, giving the side good start more often than not. In fact, both CSK openers have scored over 400 runs this season and are in the hunt to get the prestigious orange cap.

1. Faf du Plessis

The South African dasher likes of attack bowlers from the outset and playing big knocks isn’t beyond his reach either. With 435 runs, in fact, Du Plessis is CSK’s highest run-getter this season.
