3. Karn Sharma

RCB decided to go with young Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga during their whole campaign. So it was quite hard to adjust Sharma into the bowling combination of the team. So, RCB may release him to free up their purse and get any other player. Karn might also get a better opportunity if any of the teams, who require a leg spinner, buys him in the mini-auction of IPL 2023.

2. David Willey

After the inclusion of Maxwell in the squad and playing XI as well, Willey was benched by the team management for further matches. As only four foreign players in a playing XI in IPL, it would be hard for RCB to adjust him in their existing combination which may result in Willey’s release from RCB ahead of the next season in 2023.

1. Siddarth Kaul

As per the bowling combination of RCB, Kaul couldn’t find a regular place as the management was already going with the likes of Josh Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj, and Harshal Patel in their pace attack. The Pathankot-based pacer might get a better chance if any other team picks him up in the mini-auction of IPL 2023 and he fits in their bowling combination. So, RCB may release him ahead of the next season.
