Adding to his bowling, Singh has emerged as a good fielder and secures the hotspots on the field. He also truly deserves the Emerging Player of the season award.

4. Mohsin Khan

In only nine matches he played this season, he has picked up 14 wickets. He has been way more economical than other pacers as well with an average economy of 5.96. With best figures of 4/16, Mohsin had a dream debut season. This makes him a frontrunner to bag this prestigious honour this season.

3. Dewald Brevis

Overall, Brevis scored 161 runs in the seven innings he batted. With a highest of 49, he averages 23. His strike rate remains high at 142.47. He also has only one wicket to his name that too of Virat Kohli. 

2. Tilak Varma

Overall, Tilak scored a total of 397 runs in the 14 matches this season. He averages 36.09 with a strike rate of 131.02. He is certainly a front runner to win the Emerging Player award as it is a debut season for him as well.

1. Umran Malik

With 22 wickets in 14 matches this season, he is a perfect contender for becoming the Emerging player of the season. Although his economy remains as high as nine, he still has rattled the batters with his pace. His national call-up might also give him some confidence.
