On playing 150 IPL matches, he has scored 5449 runs with an inordinate average and strike rate of 41.59 and 139.96 respectively. He evolved as the face of Hyderabad and is loved truly by the fans. The emancipation of the legend cricketer is a sheer loss to the Sunrisers campaign.

In just one season, he shattered many records. He also won the Most Valuable Player of the season and Gamechanger of the season. It is harsh on someone to be released after being the best player of the tournament.
