Along with Aiden Markram, he has stitched important partnerships to win the matches for his team. In the last season, the Caribbean batter had scored only 85 runs at an average of 7.72, with 32 as his highest score. So, 2022 has certainly proved to be a confidence boosting season for him.

3. David Warner

After being snubbed from the side, he was not retained by the franchise as well. The Delhi Capitals (DC) availed his services, which certainly helped the side to do well in IPL 2022. However, in the ongoing IPL 2022, Hooda has been one of the finest batters of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with 406 runs in 14 appearances at an average of 31.23, and a strike rate of 133.55. He has four fifties in this season, which is more than what he had until 2021 season combined.
