5.  Tilak Varma

He was the perfect left-hand middle-order batter a team could ask for to play a tough role to steady the ship. Varma finished this season on a high note with his total runs being close to around 400 (397 runs), a feat only a handful of players have achieved in their first season. People have already started to rate Tilak high and it is only in his hands to not let that go.

4. Mukesh Choudhary

Even though Chennai Super Kings didn’t have a great season, the young pacer’s addition to their squad has given them a trustable left-arm fast bowler who can start the bowling attack along with Deepak Chahar during next year’s IPL. In his debut season, Mukesh Choudhary finished with 16 wickets which is a very impressive and surprising performance considering the lack of momentum he had at the start.

3. Mohsin Khan

He once again proved his worth this by picking four wickets for just 16 runs against Delhi Capitals which helped Lucknow win and thus earned him, his first-ever “Man of the Match” award. In his eight matches, Mohsin picked up 13 wickets at an economy of just under six (5.93). Mohsin’s bowling ability is one of the reasons LSG has qualified for the playoffs and if he does continue his good form, there is every chance of his team defeating Bangalore in the Eliminator.

2. Rinku Singh

When KKR management decided to alter their XI after some games, Rinku finally got the chance to prove himself. From there, there was no stopping for the left-hander as he went to play some really good knocks, with his score of 40 off 15 vs the Lucknow Super Giants, nearly keeping them in the hunt for the playoffs.

1. Jitesh Sharma

In his 12 matches, Jitesh has scored 234 runs at an average of 29.25 with his strike rate being 163.63. He made every use of the opportunities given to him to showcase the quality of skill he has. He has the flair to be one of India’s best finishers soon.
