11. Mustafizur Rahman

In the first league match against GT, Mustafizur returned with the figures of 3/23 off four overs and helped the side to contain the opposition under 180, which was looking quite possible with the stable start to their innings. In the second league match against LSG, Mustafizur Rahman completed his full quota of four overs by giving away 26 runs. His variations will be crucial for DC going ahead in the tournament.

10. Lockie Ferguson

In the game against DC, Ferguson finished with the figures of 4/28 and stunned the opposition with his variations and clocked speeds of 140+ kmph in a consistent manner. His performance helped the team to win the match by 14 runs. In the second league match against PBKS, Ferguson picked up a single wicket and gave away 33 runs, and was the most economical bowler of the team after Rashid Khan.

9. Rashid Khan

The Afghan leggie, Rashid Khan will serve as the key spin bowling option for the team at any stage of the match, due to his proven abilities to put pressure on the batters and clinch key moments. In the Week Two of IPL 2022, Rashid played two matches for GT.

8. Dwaine Pretorius

In an only fixture for CSK in Week Two, Pretorius returned with a figures of 2/30 to put brakes and took wickets in a consistent manner. Although the team could not secure a victory, this performance earns him a place due to his ability with the bat as well.

7. Pat Cummins (c)

Australia’s Test captain Pat Cummins was picked again by the KKR team in the 2022 auction, and he joined them ahead of their second league match of Week Two. Cummins had an immediate impact for his side and it seemed as if he was playing T20 cricket for a long time. Rather he was in Pakistan for a Test series and then traveled back home before coming to India.

6. Jason Holder

In his first league match against SRH, Holder provided a lusty blow at the end of the innings and also finished with the figures of 3/34 to help the team in defending the total of 169 and winning the game by 12 runs.In the second league match, he put a brake on the run-flow of the DC batters by giving 30 runs off his four overs, and the team chased down the total to record their third consecutive win in the tournament.

5. Shimron Hetmyer

In the subsequent fixture against RCB, Hetmyer scored 42*off 21 balls and provided a late flourish, which the team needed to set up an above-par total. Although the team lost the match, he has continued his terrific form in the tournament.

4. Nicholas Pooran

In the only appearance for the SRH team in Week Two against LSG, Pooran stitched a crucial partnership with Rahul Tripathi to recover from the early wickets, but the team lost in a chase of 169 runs. Starting the innings cautiously, Pooran accelerated as he understood the pitch and finished with 34 off 24 balls, with three fours and two sixes to his name. However, he couldn’t finish the game and that cost SRH.

3. Liam Livingstone

In the next match against Gujarat Titans (GT), he continued his glorious form by hitting 64 off 27 balls, which paved way for the team to post 189 runs. Although the team lost this league match, his knock pushed him into the top three run-getters in the tournament with 162 runs in four innings.

The Protea wicket-keeper also marks his presence in this coveted list of best overseas players in Week Two of IPL 2022. After being a part of the MI team in the last few editions of the tournament, Lucknow Super Giants bought Quinton de Kock in the 2022 auction and has been impressive so far in the 2o22 edition.
