11. T Natarajan

The left-hand pacer made his IPL debut for Punjab Kings in the 2017 season against the Rising Pune Supergiants. He joined the SRH franchise in the 2018 season and has been there since that time. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2021 and was very Impressive and dedicated. His records in the shortest format of the game are enough to know how good he is.

10. Shreyas Gopal

The 28-year old leggie has played 48 IPL games and has 48 dismissals to his name. He has good bowling records against most of the teams. He has had a quality of time playing for Rajasthan Royals and he was a useful bowler for them. Shreyas has been a part of the tournament since 2014 and he will hopefully play many more seasons. Shreyas can prove to be an asset for the franchise.

9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The Meerut-born pacer has played 132 IPL games and has a total of 142 wickets to his name at a fantastic bowling average of 25.27. He will surely complete his 150 IPL wickets in the 2022 season. Bhuvi is one of the most experienced Indian fast bowlers currently and like every IPL season, he will lead the SRH pace attack in this season too. Hopefully, he will get back to his original form.

8. Washington Sundar

Sundar is a valuable T20 cricketer. Alongside his effective off-spin, he is also handy with the bat. Washington has played 42 IPL games and has picked 27 wickets. He has scored 217 runs in 26 innings in the cash-rich league. The best thing about him is his economy rate. He has a career economy of 6.94 in IPL despite being a spinner and despite bowling in the powerplay.

7. Romario Shepherd

He showcased what he can do with the bat in the recently concluded England T20I series. Romario has played 14 T20Is for the West Indies and has scored 117 runs in five innings at an incredible strike rate of 160.27. His all-round skills will be very helpful for SRH in the coming season. SRH has shown faith in him by picking him for such a big amount so he will have an added responsibility on him.

6. Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek was a member of the winning Indian side at the U19 World Cup 2018. Before that tournament, he won the Emerging Asia Cup as a captain for India. He has the ability to perform at a big stage like IPL. He is a fearless stroke player and is very reliable with the ball in hand. The franchise will want him to finish games for them and his contribution will be very valuable.

5. Abdul Samad

The Jammu and Kashmir batter was very impressive in the games he played for the Sunrisers. The big-muscled batter hits big sixes effortlessly which is very rare among the Indian batters. He will have the responsibility of the SRH’s middle-order for the coming seasons and the next season too. SRH have invested in him and will want him to win games for them.

4. Nicholas Pooran (wk)

Pooran will try to follow in the footsteps of his heroes. Nicholas was there in the Punjab Kings’ side for a few recent seasons. He has played 33 IPL games and has scored 606 runs. The best thing about him is that he bats at a strike rate of 154.99. Nicholas Pooran also has good wicket-keeping skills which makes him a valuable player and a great T20 package.

3. Aiden Markram

Markram is yet to prove his mettle in the Indian T20 carnival but he has done well in the other tournaments. The other dimension of Aiden as a cricketer is his fielding. He is continuing the legacy of the gun South African fielding after Jonty Rhodes, AB de Villiers, and Faf du Plessis. He stands like a wall on the boundary rope and is one of the safest fielders in the world.

2. Kane Williamson (c)

The Kiwi batter has played 63 IPL games and has scored 1885 runs at a splendid average of 40.11. He was the leading run-scorer in the 2018 season and was awarded the orange cap. He has a lot of experience in captaining at the highest level. In the absence of David Warner, Kane will have a bigger role to play in the upcoming season and the SRH fans will expect him to lift the IPL title.

The batter then moved to Rajasthan Royals and then to Kolkata Knight Riders. The franchise bought him for 8.50 CR after a long bidding war with Kolkata Knight Riders. Tripathi has played 62 games in the cash-rich league and has scored 1385 runs. He was an important bloke in KKR’s middle-order for the last few seasons. Rahul’s role will be very crucial for the franchise.
