Rovman Powell has been of Delhi Capitals’ consistent performers in the past few weeks. However, he did not contribute much in this week of the tournament. Against Chennai Super Kings, the West Indian was dismissed for just three runs off nine deliveries as Delhi succumbed to a 91-run loss.
Ambati Rayudu is one of the veterans of IPL, having been associated with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings since 2010. The Chennai batter could manage just 15 runs in week seven. Against Delhi Capitals, he scored five runs off six balls, and could manage just 10 runs against the Mumbai Indians.
Aiden Markram‘s inclusion in this list could be a harsh decision, given that Sunrisers Hyderabad have played just one game in week seven. The South African batter scored 21 runs off 27 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Shreyas Iyer is another addition to the list of star Indian batters who have disappointed in week seven of IPL. The Kolkata Knight Riders skipper could manage just 12 runs in two innings last week, with twin scores of six runs against Mumbai and Lucknow.
