11. Yuzvendra Chahal

One of the potent bowling units in this season was quite average with their performances in the last league match, where they were tonked for boundaries in a consistent manner. The only saving grace for the team was the purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal, who finished with figures of 3/28 off his four overs.

10. Prasidh Krishna

Krishna finished with figures of 1/48 in the last outing and proved to be the most expensive bowler for RR. He needs to form a potent partnership with the Kiwi pacer with the new ball.

9. Kuldeep Sen

The youngster Kuldeep Sen has done well this season, he returned with 0/42 in the last game.

8. Trent Boult

Boult has certainly lost the momentum after doing well in the initial matches and needs to pick wickets up front to give the team an added advantage.

7. Riyan Parag

On the other hand, Parag has scored 126 runs at a strike rate of 151.80. His top score of 56* came against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which helped the team to secure a victory in that match. With the ball, the Guwahati-born cricketer so far has bowled only four overs and conceded 59 runs and has a single wicket to his name.

6. Ravichandran Ashwin

Normally, an off-spinner, Ashwin has used the floaters and carrom-ball quite often in the ongoing season. He has scalped a total of nine wickets at an economy of 7.18 and has also contributed 83 runs with the bat. In crucial situations, the 35-year old has marked his presence to steer the team in a cautious fashion.

5.Van der Dussen

In this game, Dussen is expected to don the role of a finisher in the absence of Caribbean batter Shimron Hetmyer, who has returned home for the birth of his first child. The Proteas batter was dropped from the side due to his ordinary performance of just 10 runs in two appearances.

4. Devdutt Padikkal

The left-handed batter Padikkal came at the number four position in the last game. Although he looked rusty throughout his innings to contribute 31 off 32, he stitched a 56-run partnership with Jaiswal, which set up a successful chase for the team.

3. Sanju Samson (c & wk)

Under his presence at the crease, the team possesses realistic chances of chasing down any totals on the board. In the last game, he was superb with his timing to score 23 off 12 balls but would now look to convert his starts into a big one.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal came back into the Playing XI by replacing Karun Nair. After a failure in the first three games, the southpaw returned with a terrific performance by scoring 68 off 41 balls and played a key role in helping the team secure a much-needed victory.
