The IPL 2026 mini auction will be held on December 16, 2025.
The one-day mini auction will take place in Abu Dhabi, marking another overseas venue for the IPL auction process.
The auction will begin at 2:30 PM IST, with franchises expected to complete their squad building in a single day.
A total of 359 players registered, out of which 77 players will go under the hammer, including 31 overseas cricketers.
Since this is a mini auction, teams will not be allowed to use Right to Match (RTM) cards during the bidding process.
Kolkata Knight Riders will enter the auction with the highest remaining purse of ₹64.30 crore, followed by Chennai Super Kings with ₹43.40 crore.
