CRICKET
Four IPL franchise owners have officially entered England’s The Hundred League as strategic partners, starting from October 1, 2025.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed agreements with GMR Group, Sun TV Network, RPSG Group, and Reliance Group to manage four teams in The Hundred.
The ECB stated that these partnerships will bring in hundreds of millions of pounds, which will be used to promote and develop cricket in England.
RPSG Group (Lucknow Super Giants) owns 70% of Manchester Originals
Sun TV Network (SRH) owns 100% of Northern Superchargers
GMR Group (Delhi Capitals co-owner) owns 49% of Southern Brave
Reliance Group (Mumbai Indians) owns 49% of Oval Invincibles
While partnerships for six teams have been finalized, the ECB is still in talks for the remaining two teams in the eight-team competition.
