Aakash Chopra’s new suggestion for IPL 2027 has created fresh buzz around the Mumbai Indians.
Chopra thinks the Mumbai Indians could consider trading Hardik Pandya before the IPL 2027 auction. His idea has surprised many fans.
“MI could trade Hardik Pandya to LSG, where he could be captain or a middle-order batter. In return, MI would want Nicholas Pooran, since they know how to handle him,” Chopra said.
“The Wankhede Stadium would suit Pooran. MI should also ask for Mohsin Khan, a tall bowler who gets good bounce. LSG won’t give up Prince Yadav or Mayank Yadav, but maybe they could get Mohsin,” he added.
“LSG might reply that just Hardik isn’t enough, and they would want Mitchell Santner too. It’s a fair ask, because with Kuldeep, Santner, and Hardik, LSG would have a strong team,” he said
After Mumbai Indians’ poor IPL 2026 season, talk of big squad changes is growing ahead of the IPL 2027 auction.
It’s not official yet, but Chopra’s bold idea has sparked a new debate about Hardik Pandya’s future with the Mumbai Indians.
