On a tour, Dhoni suffered from severe back pain. When doctors recommended tests that required injections, he refused them altogether. That’s how deep his fear really runs.
“I said, ‘Chalo wapas jaayenge’ (Let’s go back),” Dhoni joked. Despite his fear of injections, he emphasized the importance of proper medical care, saying, “It’s crucial to see a doctor and get checked when you have a problem.”
Dhoni also revealed how the bond with his wife is after marriage, and what he really wants from his wife.
With a smile, he joked, “You might be the prime minister at home, but the home minister is even more important. I can handle any challenge in the world, but I need my wife by my side.”
