When asked about shaking hands with Pakistan’s Fatima Sana, Harmanpreet Kaur chose not to comment on the topic.
“We are here for cricket and we (in the team) don’t talk about anything else,” said Harmanpreet.
Harmanpreet said there’s always pressure in India vs Pakistan games, but she tells the team to enjoy it and treat it like any other match.
She said the first game sets the tone, and the team is looking forward to it, aiming to keep the same positive attitude as before the last ODI World Cup.
The handshake talk may be big now, but what matters most is who wins this top rivalry in women’s cricket.
