Rajat Patidar has been appointed all-format captain of Madhya Pradesh for the 2025-26 domestic season.
He first led MP in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and recently captained RCB to their maiden IPL title.
Patidar also guided Central Zone to a Duleep Trophy title, their first since 2014-15.
In 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, he scored 529 runs in 11 innings with one century and two half-centuries.
Patidar has started the new season strongly, scoring two centuries and three fifties in seven innings.
Madhya Pradesh will begin their Ranji Trophy campaign at home against Punjab in Indore from October 15.
