5. Ravichandran Ashwin

The leading Test wicket-taker of the year. Ravi Ashwin had a phenomenal year picking up 52 wickets in eight Test matches with an incredible bowling average of 16.23. He was the only bowler in 2021 to reach the 50 wicket mark. He was brilliant in the home Tests.

4. Dhananjay De Silva

Dhananjay De Silva has been a top cricketer for Sri Lanka in 2021 in all three formats. He is brilliant with the bat, ball, and even when he fields. Dhananjay has been backed by Sri Lankan cricket to continuously play international cricket after having brilliant records in the domestic circuit.

3. Wanindu Hasaranga

The leading wicket-taker in T20Is in 2021, Wanindu Hasaranga remained the best throughout the year. He is a solid leg-break bowler and he is carrying the load of the Sri Lankan bowling lineup on his shoulders. 2021 has been his year. He was even handy with the bat.

2. Jason Holder

Jason Holder is undoubtedly one of the best all-rounders going around and he has shown it in his performances too. He is good with both bat and ball and can win games for his teams using both dimensions. Apart from batting and bowling, he adds another dimension to the team that is the captaincy.

1. Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan is one of the best all-rounders of the current lot. In 2021, he scored 771 international runs off 30 games that he featured in and took 47 wickets across all three formats. In Tests, he only played four innings in which he scored 167 runs with two fifties and took five wickets.
