10. Bangladesh – 5/10

In a total of 27 games, Bangladesh have won only in 11 out of them. They first went to New Zealand to play and tasted a clean sweep. They went on to play against Zimbabwe after that and they won that series but Zimbabwe gave them tough competition.

9. Afghanistan – 6/10

In the T20 World Cup, they played five matches and won two, but looked good throughout the tournament. They gave a good fight to the Kiwis in their last match in the tournament. It will be interesting to see their performances in the coming years.

8. Sri Lanka – 6/10

Wanindu Hasaranga had a good year and Charith Asalanka showed some good performances but the intent from other players was missing. Sri Lanka played a total of 20 games and won eight of them.They only managed to win one series throughout the year.

7. West Indies – 6.5/10

They played 22 games in 2021 and won only nine. Their first T20I series of 2021 was when Sri Lanka visited the Caribbean islands in which they won with a margin of 2-1. Then, South Africa, Australia and Pakistan came to play against the West Indies.

6. South Africa – 7.5/10

Their first two series were against Pakistan (one in home and one on away soil). Both of the times South Africa ended as a losing side by 2-1 and 3-1, respectively. Then they had three away series against West Indies, Ireland and Sri Lanka, and won all three of them.

5. India – 7.5/10

The first T20I that India played in 2021 was in the bilateral series against the Englishmen at home. India won the five-match T20I series by a margin of 3-2. The series was quite good for Virat Kohli who scored a total of 231 runs and he was awarded Player of the Series too.

4. England – 8/10

Then Sri Lanka and Pakistan visited England to play T20I series and England Registered win in both of the series. They were brilliant in the ICC T20 World Cup in which they toped their pool and qualified for the playoffs but got defeated by the Kiwis in the semis.

3. New Zealand – 8/10

The New Zealand played 23 T20I games in 2021 in which they had 13 wins. The Blackcaps played two series at home and two series in the sub-continent, with their Pakistan series getting cancelled. They registered wins in the two home series but lost two series in the sub-continent.

2. Australia – 8.5/10

Australia won 10 out of 22 T20I games in 2021. They played three five-match T20I series in 2021 against New Zealand, West Indies and Pakistan and lost all three of them by a margin of 3-2,4-1,4-1 respectively. The stats themselves shows how the year had been for Australia.

1. Pakistan – 9/10

Pakistan played 29 T20I games in 2021, they won 22 of them and three games had no result. Pakistan played bilateral T20I series against South Africa on home soil and won it by 2-1. Again they faced the Proteas but this time as a guest what so over the result was same as Pakistan defeated South Africa again by 3-1.
