2008 – 2009: Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Started his IPL career as a young player and was part of the inaugural title-winning team in 2008.

2011: Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK)

Played one season after serving a one-year ban for a contract violation in 2010.

2012 – 2015 & 2018 – 2025: Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

This was his core, 12-season tenure where he became an icon and a match-winner, winning multiple titles with the franchise. It is his longest and most defining association.

2016 – 2017: Gujarat Lions (GL)

Played here as a result of the draft when CSK (and RR) were suspended from the league for two seasons.
