RCB may not be confirmed to host IPL 2026 matches at M Chinnaswamy Stadium yet. The final decision on Bengaluru hosting games will be announced on March 16.
The Karnataka government’s Expert Committee met KSCA officials to review safety measures and match-day arrangements at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
KSCA presented details about infrastructure upgrades and safety plans to ensure the stadium is safe for large crowds during IPL matches.
Representatives from RCB and operational agencies also shared their plans for smooth match operations during IPL 2026.
As per the IPL 2026 schedule, RCB are set to play their first two matches at M Chinnaswamy Stadium against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings.
KSCA said discussions were positive, and the final decision on Bengaluru hosting IPL 2026 matches will be announced by March 16.
