11. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj has bowled extremely well with the new ball and has kept the batters quiet, apart from taking few crucial wickets for his side.  Pacer Mohammed Siraj is also expected to play a supporting role for the Australian pacer.

10. Josh Hazlewood

Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood only managed to get one wicket under his belt. The right-arm pacer gave away 33 runs in his four over quota. He will want to scalp some vital wickets for his side with the new ball.

9. Siddarth Kaul

Pacer Siddarth Kaul is also expected to replace young pacer Akash Deep. Talking about his numbers in IPL, Kaul has registered 58 scalps to his name from 54 IPL  appearances so far.

8. Suyash Prabhudessai

Young batter Suyash Prabhudessai also impressed in his first match for the RCB. The right-handed batter played a vital knock of 34 in just 14 balls, hitting five fours and one six. The 24-year old will also want to perform well for the Red Army in the upcoming match.

7. Wanindu Hasaranga

Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has been the most consistent performer for the Red Army with ball. Hasaranga has picked up ten wickets from five matches so far and will want to continue his good form against the Capitals as well.

6. Shahbaz Ahmed

Shahbaz Ahmed, on the other hand, has proved his mettle as a middle-order batter.  In the last five games, the left-handed batter has scored 113 runs but is yet to feature in the wickets column with the ball in hand.

5. Glenn Maxwell

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell showed some glimpses of his hitting prowess against CSK in the last encounter. The 33-year old scored 26 off just 11 balls, hitting two fours and an equal number of maximums before getting cleaned up by Ravindra Jadeja.

4. Dinesh Karthik (wk)

Wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has been RCB’s saviour with some memorable performances in the middle order. The right-handed batter has given some excellent finish to the Red Army and will want to continue his batting antics against DC as well.

3. Virat Kohli

Senior batter Virat Kohli has been performing well for his side in the current edition of IPL. The right-handed batter has made two 40+ scores in five matches and played a crucial role for his side, during their encounter against MI. However, Kohli (1 off 3 balls) failed to get going against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in RCB's last match.

2. Anuj Rawat

Young opener Anuj Rawat also played a match-winning knock of 66 runs against Mumbai Indians. However, the left-handed batter has not played any significant knock for his team since then, despite getting some starts in his inning. Rawat will look to perform well against DC.

1. Faf du Plessis (c)

Skipper Faf du Plessis started his 2022 season with an excellent 57-ball 88 against Punjab Kings, but then saw a dip in his consistency since then. The right-handed batter has managed to score just 58 runs in his next four matches.
