Shreyas Iyer Admitted to Sydney Hospital

India’s ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer is in ICU after suffering internal bleeding from a rib injury during the 3rd ODI against Australia.

How the Injury Happened

Iyer got injured while taking a running catch to dismiss Alex Carey. He appeared to hurt his left rib cage and was taken to the hospital soon after.

Doctors confirmed internal bleeding after reports came in. Iyer was admitted immediately to prevent infection and kept under close observation.
