Suryakumar donates match fees

India captain Suryakumar Yadav donated his Asia Cup 2025 match fees to support Pahalgam victims and the Indian Armed Forces.

“I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims. Jai Hind,” Surya wrote.

Yadav clarified that the donation was dedicated to the Indian Army and those affected by the Pahalgam attack.

How much he donated

India’s T20 players earn ₹4 lakh per match. With seven matches, Suryakumar Yadav donated ₹28 lakh.

After the first match against Pakistan, India did not shake hands to honour the victims and the bravery of soldiers.
