Aakash Chopra questioned India’s batting choice after Sanju Samson was left out despite waiting for his chance.
India gave Vaibhav Suryavanshi a chance in the 2nd T20I against England, exciting fans about his future.
Aakash Chopra said that if fairness mattered, Sanju Samson should have got one more chance before changing the team combination.
Chopra said, “Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his debut. I think India should give him all five games, instead of rotating Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma for just a game each. That’s not fair if you want to do justice.”
He said that if fairness was the goal, Sanju should have gotten one more chance, even though his last three innings weren’t good. Instead, Vaibhav was picked to give him an opportunity.
With growing competition in India’s batting lineup, every decision is sparking debate among fans and experts.
Will Vaibhav Suryavanshi seize his chance, or will debates over leaving out Sanju Samson go on?
