The Karnataka government has blamed a video of Virat Kohli for the tragedy that killed 11 people at the RCB trophy victory parade.
They argued in the High Court that a large crowd had gathered because of Kohli's video.
The government also claimed that police officers acted like servants of RCB.
In its report to the High Court, the government listed several reasons behind the stampede, including Kohli’s video urging fans to join the celebration.
The government blamed the lack of communication between DNA Entertainment, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), and RCB.
It alleged that the stadium gates were opened late, which led to the stampede.
Unless there is a formal charge against him or his name is added to the FIR by the court, the chances of Virat Kohli's arrest are very low.
