Virat Kohli’s future is in the spotlight after new retirement rumours online. But is the IPL legend really thinking about leaving soon?
A big update from RCB has shifted the discussion. The team believes Kohli’s journey is far from finished.
RCB CEO Rajesh Menon says Kohli can play for the team for at least three or four more years. This has quickly calmed fans’ retirement worries.
“He’ll definitely play for the next three or four years. He’s fit, hungry, and showed great energy and performance this IPL. There’s no problem with him playing on,” he added.
Kohli’s T20I retirement had already surprised fans, so new rumors made many worry about another big farewell.
Since 2008, Kohli has played for only one IPL team. Even after almost twenty years, his bond with RCB is as strong as ever.
Retirement rumours may go on, but RCB’s latest update suggests otherwise. Fans might still see Kohli play several more seasons in red and gold.
