Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma made a memorable comeback to domestic cricket in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26, scoring centuries in their opening matches.
Playing his first Vijay Hazare match in over 15 years, Kohli scored 131 off 101 balls against Andhra Pradesh in Bengaluru, guiding Delhi to a four-wicket win.
During his knock, Kohli completed 16,000 runs in List A cricket, becoming only the second Indian batter after Sachin Tendulkar to reach the landmark.
Rohit Sharma marked his return by smashing 155 off 94 balls against Sikkim, hitting 18 fours and nine sixes as Mumbai won by eight wickets.
Virat Kohli is likely to feature for Delhi against Gujarat on December 26 at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, with the match starting at 9:00 AM IST.
Rohit Sharma will play for Mumbai against Uttarakhand on December 26 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Both matches begin at 9:00 AM IST, with no live streaming available.
Fans will not be able to watch the matches live, as there will be no telecast or live streaming available for either game on December 26.
