Kohli outperformed Rohit in major cricket and non-cricket markets including USA, UK, and Australia, reinforcing his global brand value.
In Pakistan, Virat Kohli’s search volume was a staggering 320% higher than Rohit Sharma’s, underlining his cross-border appeal.
Despite Kohli’s clear edge over Rohit in search trends, neither emerged as India’s most searched cricketer in 2025.
The top spot was claimed by 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who turned into a viral phenomenon after becoming the youngest centurion in IPL history while playing for Rajasthan Royals.
