The complaint was filed by Sun TV Network, which also owns Sunrisers Hyderabad. They claim the copyrighted film music was used without a proper license.
The matter has reached the Madras High Court, creating an off-field IPL drama. The company has reportedly demanded ₹1 crore in damages for the alleged misuse
After receiving a notice, CSK stopped using the songs and dialogues in their promos. The franchise told the court that they will use such material only after getting proper permission.
