Why is there no Live Streaming for Rohit Sharma-Virat Kohli’s Vijay Hazare Trophy matches?

Limited broadcast

BCCI has installed full broadcast facilities at only two venues - Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad) and Niranjan Shah Stadium (Rajkot).

Multiple matches played simultaneously

The Vijay Hazare Trophy features 38 teams, with several matches happening at the same time, making it impractical to broadcast every game live.

Non-televised venues

Rohit Sharma’s match in Jaipur and Virat Kohli’s match in Bengaluru are being played at venues without live broadcast setup.

Cost and logistics constraints

Setting up live production (cameras, crew, OB vans, satellite links) at all grounds would significantly increase operational costs.

Broadcast priority given to select matches

Only matches at designated broadcast venues are streamed on Jio Hotstar, while others are excluded regardless of star players.

Live scores still available

Fans can follow ball-by-ball live scores and updates of all matches, including Rohit and Virat’s games, on the official BCCI website and CricTracker.com
