Cricket isn’t a permanent Commonwealth Games sport. Its inclusion depends on the host city’s budget, venues, and plans.
Cricket fans will have to wait for future Commonwealth Games to see if the sport returns. Glasgow 2026 won’t have cricket, but there’s still hope for a comeback in later editions.
