The 13th ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will be played from September 30 to November 2, 2025, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh
A total of 8 teams will compete in a single round-robin format, where each team plays the others once. The top four move to the semi-finals, followed by the grand final.
Matches will be spread across five cities: India: Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam | Sri Lanka: Colombo.
Australia, the most successful women’s ODI side, enter as reigning champions after winning the 2022 edition. They’ll aim to extend their dominance.
ICC officials call it a “defining moment” for women’s cricket, expected to boost the sport’s global reach. It’s also the last Women’s World Cup with only 8 teams before the expansion to a bigger format in the future.
