WPL 2026 is likely to be played from January 7 to February 3, with matches hosted in Mumbai and Baroda.
The DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai is expected to host the first leg of the tournament, including the opening match.
The second leg of WPL 2026 is likely to begin on January 16 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, which may also host the final.
While venues are finalised internally, BCCI has not yet issued official confirmation to franchises. A formal update is expected at the WPL mega auction on November 27.
WPL 2026 will be played mostly in January to avoid clashes with the Men’s T20 World Cup and other league calendars. January could become the permanent WPL window.
With two venues, a new January window, and growing fan interest, WPL 2026 promises a packed season as teams prepare for another exciting edition.
