This young cricketer might become Yuvraj Singh’s next student

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh called 14-year-old Vaibhav an “exceptionally talented player”, highlighting his fearless instinct against fast bowling.

Vaibhav is performing brilliantly for Team India in Zimbabwe and will be crucial in the upcoming Super Six stage, with matches against Zimbabwe on January 27 and Pakistan on February 1.

Yuvraj specifically noted Vaibhav’s courage against bouncers, praising his ability to play hook and pull shots even against balls near the neck.

Vaibhav made history in April 2025 for Rajasthan Royals, scoring a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans at age 14, becoming IPL’s youngest and fastest centurion for India.

In the 2025 IPL season, Vaibhav scored 252 runs and received the Super Striker of the Season award for his explosive batting.

With his fearless style and early records in IPL and U19 internationals, Vaibhav is being seen as a future star and possible “next Yuvraj Singh” for Indian cricket.
