A cricketer revered by millions, Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for Covid-19. The former Indian cricketer announced the same on Twitter. Tendulkar also informed that none of his family members have contracted the virus.

2. Bangladesh seamer Hasan Mahmud ruled out of T20I series against New Zealand

A back injury has ruled out 21-year-old Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud from the three-match T20I series against New Zealand. The T20I series between the Kiwis and the Tigers will begin on 28th March 2021.

The South African Cricket Board has confirmed that all the South African players who will take part in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be allowed to leave for India midway.
