Team India recently completed an excellent outing against West Indies after winning both ODIs and the T20I series against the home team. Talking about the fifth and final T20I encounter played at Central Broward Park in Florida, the Men in Blue posted a competitive total on the board and then went on to defend the target easily, winning the final match by 88 runs. To note, Samson’s name has not been included in the Indian squad going to participate in the upcoming 2022 T20 Asia Cup. Meanwhile, Team India will take on Zimbabwe in a limited-over series slated to start soon. With permanent skipper Rohit Sharma has been rested, senior batter Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Indian team. However, the Men in Blue will want to focus more on the upcoming Asia Cup as they will take on their arch-rivals Pakistan in their tournament opener. It must be noted that India lost to Pakistan when these two sides met last in the T20 World Cup 2022.
