Wife of Rohit Sharma, Ritika heavily trolled on Instagram

Aside from losing the opening match of the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL), there’s one more reason for Mumbai Indians’ captain Rohit Sharma to be vexed. The defending champions, Mumbai Indians lost a thriller in the series opener against the Chennai Super Kings. Chennai made a winning comeback to the IPL on Saturday with Dwayne Bravo excelling both with the ball and the bat.

Ritika’s post triggered Dhoni fans:

Just ahead of the start of IPL, Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit posted a picture on social media which infuriated MS Dhoni’s fans. She posted a magazine cover which termed her husband, Rohit as ‘Captain Cool’.  Ritika Sajdeh has been brutally trolled following her Instagram post. Within moments of posting the picture, a majority of Dhoni fans made their disappointment felt instantly.

MSD – the Captain Cool:

As already known Mahendra Singh Dhoni is famously called Captain Cool for his calmness and composure. Dhoni has been termed, Captain Cool right from the early stages of his captaincy days. He never allowed pressure to get in his head.  His quiet demeanor has won him coordinates as well as helped him adapt to the unfortunate losses. Never engaged with heated arguments, he once in a while demonstrates his feelings on the field. He apparently guarantees a peace in the dressing room too. And so he’s been lovingly called the Captain Cool.

Rohit Sharma has done an impeccable job, leading the Mumbai Indians franchise. In fact, he is the most successful captain in IPL cricket. Following his heroics as Mumbai skipper, he was appointed as the interim limited overs Indian captain in the absence of Kohli. He didn’t disappoint the selectors as well as the cricket fans. The cricket experts loved the way he managed the young Indian side. His field and bowling changes stood out in both the series. Despite Rohit Sharma’s success as a captain, It is always Dhoni who’s the Captain Cool in the hearts of his fans.
