The West Indies tour of Pakistan is finally underway. The Pakistan team defeated the visitors in the first T20I by a comfortable margin of 143 runs. After they were put into bat first by the West Indies, Pakistan set a huge target of 204 for the Windies to chase down. Almost all of their batsmen contributed to the total and it never looked easy for the West Indies to chase that target down.
Just as expected, the West Indies batsmen succumbed to pressure and queued back to the pavilion one by one. Four of their batsmen walked back after scoring a duck. None of them managed to sustain out there in the middle as they were bundled out for their lowest score in T20I. The team was bowled out at just 60 runs.
Will there be any interruption to the game?
Although the West Indies squad looks quite depleted, they’ll be hoping to put a fightback today. The second T20I yet again will take place in the Karachi National Stadium this evening. Also, the Pakistan team will hope that there would be a better crowd today as it was a huge letdown yesterday. Moreover, the weather forecast for today seems to be on the positive side.
The overall forecast for today is ‘Sunny and Cloudy’. The temperature is expected to sore up all way till 34C this afternoon. However, according to accuweather.com, it will cool down during the match time. Also, there is absolutely no prediction of rain today.
The skies will be clear throughout the match with minimal temperatures. But, the humidity is on the higher side as it lingers around 65% during the game time. Some nice, pleasant wind is also expected to provide some relief to the players.
Overall Verdict: Clear skies with humidity on the higher side. No chance of rain.
